Frequently Asked Questions at Dave's Catering

1. How far in advanced do I need to place a catering order for pick-up?
Because all of our prepared foods and platters are made fresh to order, our kitchens need about 48 hours to prepare your products from time the order is placed. If ordering only platters, a minimum of 24 hours from time of order is necessary.

Because all of our prepared foods and platters are made fresh to order, our kitchens need about 48 hours from the time the order is placed to prepare your products. If ordering only platters, a minimum of 24 hours from time of order is necessary.

Please do NOT attempt to change the timing of the order by indicating in any special instructions that you need a product earlier than the system allows. Especially during Peak Holiday times, our kitchens are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to prepare products. We CANNOT always allow for last minute Prepared Foods Requests. Should you have questions regarding the timing of a product you are attempting to order, please call the store directly.
3. Where can I pick up my catering order?
All 9 Dave's Locations are available for pick up of your products upon entering the store, please go to customer service and they will handle getting your products for you.
4. How many people does a Full Pan serve? A Half Pan?
A full pan serves approximately 20-30 people; a half pan serves approximately 10-15 people. These are buffet size portions.
5. How many people does a Large Bowl Serve? A Small Bowl?
A large bowl serves approximately 20-25 people. A small bowl serves approximately 10-15 people. About 2oz – 3 oz portions per person.
6. Do you have a Gluten Free Menu or offer Gluten Free Products?
Several dishes that we offer are prepared without Gluten. However, we are not a certified Gluten Free facility and cannot guarantee any item we produce will be gluten free. Because of our open air environments, there is a strong risk of cross contamination.

8. Do you have nut free or dairy free products?
Many of our products are prepared without nuts or dairy - however; please be advised that the products are produced in a facility that contains these products - risk of cross contamination is possible.
9. Are your product produced in a allergy free environment?
Please keep in mind, Dave's is NOT an Allergen Free environment. All Foods Prepared in our Kitchens may contain or may come in contact with: Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Soybeans, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish or Shellfish.
10. What is your cancellation policy?
Dave’s Marketplace requires a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel your order without charge. Orders cancelled within 48 hours of your pick up will be refunded the order total less 25% .
